Product Review: Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing

category: Uncategorized author:

Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing gives a tasty zing to a dressing favourite. Italian dressing is known for having a little kick to it from the spices and herbs, but Kraft gives it a little bit more. Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing has got to be the best Italian Dressing ever!

I have used the Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing for the last couple of years and it is the only Italian Dressing I always use. I consider Kraft Italian to be a kitchen staple. It ranks right up there with flour and sugar. I use it on my salads, and it is great as a marinade, I like to marinade my chicken in Kraft Italian Dressing for 24 hours then cook them out on the grill. You can smell the aroma of the chicken cooking on the grill thru the whole neighbourhood. I also like to use Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing in my pasta salads; it gives my pasta salad that little extra kick.

Thanks to Kraft’s name and popularity, the Zesty Italian Dressing can be found on the shelves of most grocery stores. Kraft’s Zesty Italian Dressing is also versatile.  Of course you can use it to top your salad, but you can also use it as a delicious marinade for your chicken. Chicken, chops or steaks marinated in Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing come out with so much flavour whether they are baked, broiled or grilled.

Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing is one of the best condiments to have on hand.  Not only is it inexpensive, but it is economical in that it can be used in so many different ways.

A bottle of this gives you all the ingredients you need for every part of your meal. So if you want an Italian dressing with flavour, the one to pick up is Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing, but get two bottles because you will use both of them. J

Product Review: Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil.

category: Uncategorized author:

I am usually not too picky about the food products that I buy as a general rule, to me a category of food items is all the same and brand name products are usually not better in quality or taste, they are just more expensive. I have this attitude because I never really notice a difference in most of the food products offered from different food companies, especially when it comes to the way they taste because they all taste pretty much the same.

I tried Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil and have got to be honest, I was satisfied with it, Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil is a good lower fat Mayo.  It has a good texture and flavour. It was absolutely delicious. Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil has less calories and fat than regular Mayonnaise, and the Olive Oil brings healthy ingredients such as vitamins and antioxidants. It tastes really good, I tried it on all kinds of sandwiches and it tasted so nice. It just enhanced the flavours of the food. The ingredients start with olive oil and continue on to other healthy ingredients. There is no saturated fat, no trans fat, less than 5 milligrams of cholesterol. It is healthier for you. It is still creamy. Kraft mayo with olive oil is a must have for anyone who is conscious about eating healthy.

Mayonnaise has had such a bad reputation for decades as being artery clogging and unhealthy, but Kraft mayo with olive oil stops that entire bad publicity. What a great idea for mayo, Kraft got this mayo right.

I just love it and will buy it again.J

Product Review: Kraft Seven Seas Green Goddess Salad Dressing:

category: Uncategorized author:

I am a big salad lover and I am always trying different salad dressings. Recently, I came across a bottle of Kraft Seven Seas Green Goddess Salad Dressing in the unrefrigerated section of salad dressings, in my local favourite grocery store. This product struck a deep memory chord in me. I had a positive feeling about this one. I decided to purchase this salad dressing, try it out and write an unbiased food product review all about my personal experience with it. Here is what I discovered!

I bought one bottle of Kraft Seven Seas Green Goddess Salad Dressing for around three dollars. Not a bad price. Each bottle has sixteen serving in it. This salad dressing is a bright green colour. It is pretty. It is tempting. I love many Kraft food products and this one looked great. This dressing is all about sour cream, onions, milk, mustard and other ingredients. Since I absolutely love sour cream, I figured that I would like this product. I could not wait to taste it!

I made a huge home-made salad with tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, chopped bell peppers, chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese and diced ham chunks. I then added this dressing to it. Oh, my. This salad dressing is beyond delicious. It is creamy, thick, very rich and has fabulous sour cream flavour.

There are 130 calories in 1 serving of Kraft Seven Seas Green Goddess Salad Dressing.

Calorie breakdown: 91% fat, 9% carbs, 0% protein.

I don’t know what the heck makes this dressing so darn good, even after reading the ingredients label, but it is stunning, very tasty.

Trust me,  this one is a true winner in its category! J

Product Review: Kraft Velveeta Shells & Cheese Cups.

category: Uncategorized author:

If you are looking for a quick, easy and convenient lunch or even afternoon snack, try the Kraft Velveeta Shells & Cheese Cups. The pasta shells and cheese packet comes in the little on-the-go cup so you can literally throw one of these in your handbag or backpack on your way out the door. When you’re ready to eat, just add some water, microwave it, add some cheese and you’ve got a quick, easy and delicious lunch or snack! It’s perfect for busy families or even a coach potato! The best part about the Velveeta Shells & Cheese is that it comes a little cup that you cook in and throw away when you’re finished so you don’t have to go looking for pots or pans and colanders just to cook a single serving of pasta shells and cheese. These cups are the perfect portion control for Mac and Cheese lovers. They taste great and are cheesy and gooey. I like that the cheese is not powdered but is a cheese sauce. They are especially good for quick meals or lunches when you have a busy day or night and not enough time to cook a full meal for your family. Macaroni and Cheese is also a meal that most people, especially children enjoy eating. It is actually one of those I few and far between foods that are cheaper to make from a box or bowl than to make from scratch. This also means less dishes to clean up in the end and if it allows me to save time, it’s worth every penny because that time I saved is more time I get to spend with my family. The Kraft Velveeta Shells & Cheese is a product that I highly recommend! Five star for sure! 

History Of Kraft:

category: Uncategorized author:

Canadian-born and of German origin, James L. Kraft started a wholesale door-to-door cheese business in Chicago in 1903 and suffered a loss in business, however, the business took hold and Kraft was joined by his four brothers to form J.L. Kraft and Bros. Company in 1909. In 1912, the company established its New York City, New York, headquarters to prepare for its international expansion. By 1914, thirty-one varieties of cheeses were being sold around the U.S. In 1915, the company had invented pasteurized processed cheese that did not need refrigeration, thus giving a longer shelf life than conventional cheese. In 1916, the company began national advertising and had made its first acquisition, a Canadian cheese company. In 1924, the company changed its name to Kraft Cheese Company and listed on the Chicago Stock Exchange. In 1926, it was listed on the NYSE. The firm then began to consolidate the United States dairy industry through acquisition, in competition with National and Borden. Firms acquired included:

A.E. Wright with sector:  Salad dressings;

Phenix Cheese with sector:  Cheese, other dairy products;

Southern Dairies with sector: Fluid milk, milk powder;

10 “cheese dealers” with sector: Cheese;

Henard Mayonnaise Co. with sector: Mayonnaise;

D.J. Easton with sector:        Mayonnaise;

10 companies with sector: Cheese, other dairy products;

Later, in 1927, it established its London, United Kingdom, and Hamburg, Germany, sales offices — its first forays outside North America. In 1928, it acquired Phenix Cheese Company, the maker of a cream cheese branded as Philadelphia cream cheese, and the company changed its name to Kraft-Phenix Cheese Company. By 1930, it had captured forty percent of the cheese market in the U.S. and was the third largest dairy company in the United States after National Dairy and Borden. In 1930, the company also began operating in Australia following a merger with Fred Walker & Co.
